Sitting quietly at my desk when the phone rings. I answer in the best professional voice I can when shrills and shreeks explode out of the earpiece. Kristina, my middle daughter was accepted at UCLA and Berkley next year. She will be choosing UCLA and joining her sister Amanda.
I am very proud of her achievements and she will be a tremendous asset to the Bruin family.
Happy 15th birthday sweetheart… you’re so beautiful.
Today my little Kristina hit 17. I can’t believe how fast it has gone….

This is my daughter Amanda. She’s a sophmore at UCLA and I just loved this photo from my oldest daughter Melissa’s wedding.
Driving down the freeway to work this morning I came across a troubling question. How many souls are in this vehicle and how is it they get to use the carpool lane? One of life’s little oddities. (No there wasn’t a passenger.. just the driver and a casket)
