Spent a little time upgrading the graphics on the site. Still don’t have all the bells and whistles in yet… but will work on it.
Also, installed the plugin for WordPress for gravatars. If you don’t know about gravatar, it’s a global system for your avatar. Any weblogs and forums that you use be a user of might support gravatar and if they do it will automagically install your predefined avatar for your account.
You can get you own avatar at the Gravatar website.

How sweet is this… I can now reduce my applications down to my favorite news reader. It just needs a couple small features to complete it’s usefulness, like individual settings per feed… the last thing I want to do is download every mp3 file from something like the blogdigger feed.
If you’re a podcast junkie and want the very best of the RSS world go get the latest beta of NetNewswire.

AuctionTalk: Overstock starts podcasting a weekly show.
Impressive… and exactly what we’ve been talking about for the past couple months. It’s all about the conversation ….
I hope they work on the quality of the sound on the show. They need to buy a decent microphone and maybe a breakout box. Maybe they could get a cheap set from their auctions.

Check it out! The feed can be found here

I’ve tried this system out a couple times and it just freaking rocks. The current state of most data networks on mobile just makes getting data in a pinch really painful.
Combining the promises of webservices, vxml, python and a little programming prowess.. introducing Amabuddy.
I’ll republish the number for them because I want this to spread like wildfire.
Call it on your phone and give it a try and better yet… add it to your contacts!

I’m not sure how stable this thing is… I’m sure its not ready for 10,000 bloggers to hit it at once… so be patient.
PS> to the developers… integrate my selections with del.icio.us and or publish an RSS feed for each individual user.
You guys rock.
