This is a pretty good presentation from Blaine Cook. Discovery in a social network is one critical component but the inference and cascade of relevant content associated with that connection has been ill defined to say the least.
Would love to see this discussion advanced in the standards arena.

This is completely conjecture on my part but I do find it amusing that the alleged conversations that Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt from Google had over coffee one morning on March 26th might just be about the next generation of iPhone.

The alleged quote overheard from the meeting from a bystander.
“They’re going to see it all eventually so who cares how they get it.”
Hmmm, yes this could be about early leaks about the iPad but I’m thinking not. How about the realization that they lost a prototype iPhone HD and 8 days later it became very clear that it was going to find its way into the public.

Seems to me that this might be an obvious conversation with a former board member of Apple, a significant shareholder, business partner and yes, competitor, Google.
